Zusammenfassung :

The most prominent changes at the beamlines of the spectroscopy

group in the last year include the commissioning and the

October 2005 start of user operation of the INE and WERA

beamlines. The new INE-beamline for Actinide Research (INE)

is dedicated to X-ray spectroscopy on actinides, as well as on

other radioactive samples. Available infrastructure and installations

in the experimental hutch allow performing research on

radioactive samples with activities up to 106 times the exemption

limit. This beamline offers unparalleled possibilities in Europe.
