Status of the Wendelstein7-X ECRH system

Abstract: The progress in installation of the ECRH system will be reported. Four of 10 gyrotrons have been installed know. The latest test results will be presented. Different ECRH scenarios for the W7-X operation have been investigated by detailed ray-tracing calculation. The ECRH Launching system is being presently designed to fulfil all the requirement of the different scenarios. The development and test of the critical components will be reported.
