The
pooled facilities belonging to the eight institutions within the European Commission
Project ACTINET i3 (integrated infrastructure initiative, grant nr. 232631)
include three synchrotron beamlines with complimentary characteristics and
licensed to work with radioactivity (the INE-Beamline at
ANKA, ROBL at the ESRF, PSI microXAS at SLS), numerous state-of-the-art laboratories, all
licensed and equipped to handle radioactive materials at various levels of
activity, under a range of specific conditions, using a broad range of
analytical tools and methods (CEA ATALANTE, CEA LECA, CEA DPC, JRC-ITU Labs and
hot cells, KIT-INE Labs,
HZDR
IRC), and access to
expertise in computational quantum chemical, modeling and simulation tools via
a virtual Theoretical Users Laboratory (ThUL). An overview of available pooled
facilities infrastructure and activities to date will be presented at
J-ACTINET.
